Our legal support department is headed up by Deborah Tordoff. She has 14 years of property management and legal experience and is ARLA qualified. Deborah keeps a constant check on any changes to the legislation and will notify the network of any new updates. Any changes will also be accompanied by new legal documents and templates provided by Training For Professionals, our legal help specialists. Deborah is assisted by Shahin Fazal who deals with many ongoing requirements within the franchise support legal team This will ensure that your business is compliant at all times and that you are following best practice.
As part of your induction course Deborah will introduce you to the required compliance for opening a new Sales & Lettings office. She will also inform you of the complaints procedure and ensure that you know how to deal with any complaints effectively. You will also receive training on the various Belvoir document templates to ensure you are comfortable with what is required.
Deborah and the team also offer ad hoc support as and when you need it offering answers and guidance on most of the issues you may face on a daily basis when dealing with tenants and landlords. England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland all have areas of different legislation applicable to them and so all enquiries are dealt with individually.
