Belvoir Lettings Service Launches in Middlesex

The launch of the Belvoir Lettings Agency in Enfield is an exciting new venture for 45 years old Rachel Circus.

Operating from offices located in Nicon House on Silver Street in Enfield, Rachel is the first to bring Belvoir’s award winning service to Middlesex. She will provide the tenants and landlords in the Enfield and Winchmore Hill areas with a variety of good quality residential properties ranging from luxury apartments to family homes.

And whilst the new venture is, in Rachel’s words, “exciting – but scarey!” there is every indication that this determined lady will succeed in her mission.

A native of Hammersmith, Rachel has notched up an enviable career record in project management and performance improvement in both public and private sectors. In 2009 she took the brave move of going back to University to study for an MBA. Ignoring the advice of a doubting course admissions manager, she refused the offer of a foundations course and was delighted to graduate with distinction in 2011.

Rachel’s move into property management has been a while coming since her interest in this area was first sparked by renovating her own home in 2007. This led her to considering property development, but the more she researched the more she realised that the correct advice and guidance she would need as a landlord was not readily available.

Says Rachel: “The agents I spoke to didn’t provide me with the information I needed so this led me to thinking that there was a gap in the market for a specialised lettings agent equipped with the knowledge to advise both landlords and tenants. Looking at the Belvoir franchise was the next step and immediately I knew that this was exactly the business model I was looking for.

“I know I can offer great customer service and am capable of running an organised and efficient business but as a newcomer to the industry it is reassuring to know that I can tap into the expertise and knowledge of experienced lettings operators. Coupled with that, the company’s comprehensive support and training package is excellent.

“With a growing network of more than 150 offices, Belvoir’s credibility as a nationwide franchise made it an obvious choice for me,” says Rachel.

Away from the office Rachel keeps fit by playing tennis and is captain of a ladies doubles team in the Middlesex summer and winter leagues. She confesses to “always being quite sporty” and in her 20s played football for Swindon Town Ladies.

Her thirst for new challenges in her business life is mirrored in her recreational pursuits and she is currently trying to master golf. “But my lack of consistency in striking the ball is so frustrating!” quips Rachel.

Whilst she finds her way around the golf course, Belvoir’s Chief Executive Officer Dorian Gonsales is quite confident that Rachel will definitely be on the ball in her new business venture.

“Rachel is a capable and confident business woman and she has made a bold move to leave the security of consistent employment to launch our new office in Enfield.

“Tenants and landlords in Enfield and Winchmore Hill will receive a high level of specially tailored attention from Belvoir’s nationally accredited award-winning service. All our agents undergo intensive training so they can expect superlative levels of customer service.

“With her positive approach and determination to develop a successful businessI know that Rachel will make it a fantastic success. It is a delight to see her getting her new business started.”
