We have a dedicated development team based at our Central Office who are devoted to assisting and advising you with a whole range of requirements.
A highly knowledgeable team of Franchise Support Advisors are committed to monitoring and delivering solutions to your daily working requirements as a Belvoir franchise owner.
Belvoir prides itself on providing a specialist three-week induction course for new franchise owners. During your first year of trading all new franchise owners are provided with specialist 1-2-1 mentoring to ensure that your business runs smoothly.
Do I need previous experience in Lettings?
Only 2% of our franchisees were ever Letting agents before they joined Belvoir .. our 25% of offices have turnovers in excess of £300,000 pa and our best franchisee had a combined turnover in 2010 in excess of £900,000!
You do not need previous experience to become a Belvoir franchise owner. Indeed, we think that a lack of experience can even be an advantage as we are able to teach you Belvoir’s proven business formula without you perhaps being influenced by previous, less successful ideas.
As a Belvoir franchise owner you will be provided with extensive training, beginning with an initial three-week residential course that provides you with the information you need to run your business. Industry experts and skilled professionals deliver the training modules and ensure that you are confident in the various aspects of property management. Dorian Gonsalves says: “We want to empower franchise owners and their staff to take forward the Belvoir system and are committed to investing in this. As well as our three-week induction course we also provide a series of one-day courses and webinars, designed to extend the skills of new and existing staff. We regularly expand our portfolio of training classes to ensure that the service Belvoir provides to clients remains outstanding.”
Our dedicated premises team can help you find the best outlet available, brand it to perfection and set you up so that you are ready to launch your new business. The premise team will help you every step of the way to ensure your premises doesnt become a headache.
Belvoir will work with you to help find a high-profile office or shop that best suits your budget and requirements. Our Premises Coordinator, Emma Greenfield, will help you source suitable accommodation, and if required, can act as a middle-man between you and the landlord, ensuring that all shop fittings and signage conform to brand standard.
Emma explains: “Belvoir has spent many years building its reputation on customer service and strong national branding. Part of this profile is securing a prominent location. The landlord likes to see this presence, feels comforted by the real commitment that a shop shows and uses this as part of the decision-making process when selecting an agent to look after their most valuable asset.”
Belvoir places strong emphasis on business development, which is why Belvoir franchise owners and their staff also have access to 50 additional training modules throughout the year. These courses are invaluable in helping to keep your knowledge up to date, and will also improve the skills and motivation of your staff.

A series of on-line training webinars have also been introduced, where participants can undergo training from the comfort of their own offices, following a series of web-based programmes. This makes Belvoir’s training convenient, inexpensive and highly accessible.
After a 22-year military career Paul Collins launched Belvoir Lincoln in 1996, becoming Belvoir’s fourth franchise owner. Paul’s award winning business has gone from strength-to strength and in 2009 he won the Belvoir Lifetime Contribution Award. Paul now employs several staff and often works from home, concentrating on business development. “Belvoir’s support is comprehensive,” says Paul. “I’d advise anyone interested in a franchise to do their research and talk to other franchise owners.”

But dont take our word for it , this what our new franchisees have said recently ...
“Belvoir’s training is excellent. It challenges you – but so it should. And, more importantly than anything it prepares you for your future in a way that a lot of other businesses might not. Training gives you knowledge and knowledge gives you differentiation from the competition, which is really important.”
Simon and Sally Bell from our Telford office
"The training course was superb. I enjoyed every single day and learned far more than I thought I would – it completely exceeded my expectations. The most helpful thing was meeting the staff at Central Office as it re-enforced the fact that we’d have the support of everyone behind us. It was great to meet the other new Franchise Owners and mingle with like-minded people who were at the same stage as us – we all came up with different ideas and it was good to exchange our thoughts. We were also visited by staff members from established offices and it was great to meet them and see how their businesses had progressed."
Ben Davies and Daisy Hewitt from Swansea
“The training course I attended was fantastic. I had checked out other franchises and the training they were offering didn’t seem a patch on the intensive, three-week residential course provided by Belvoir. It was an excellent course, run with great precision and the trainers were excellent. I couldn’t believe how much they managed to get through in the time."
